The Grateful Dead offshoot band Dead & Company has announced a 17-date spring and summer shed and stadium tour. The band features Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart, along with John Mayer, Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge, and RatDog and Dead sideman, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.
As it stands now, the tour kicks off on June 10th in Charlotte, North Carolina at PNC Music Pavillion, and closes over two nights — July 15th and 16thn at Boston’s Fenway Park. Along the way, the Dead will be playing double shots at New York City’s Citi Field, Boulder, Colorado’s Folsom Stadium, and East Troy, Wisconsin’s Alpine Valley Music Theatre. More dates are expected to roll out over the next few weeks — including a West Coast run.
